Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Honour) is described in the Qur'an as "better than a thousand months". Any action done with sincerity on this night is equivalent to doing that action for more than a thousand months. How much more one may ask? That is dependent on one's sincerity, devotion and hope from Allah Ta'ala. The principle of mercy is that Allah Ta'ala gives without measure. This exponential increase in reward is a speciality of this night.

The Night of Qadr represents the sheer Power, Might and Forgiveness of Allah Ta’ala. It appears but once a year with the opportunity to earn forgiveness and a phenomenal reward of more than 80 years of dedicated worship to one’s Creator.
Look at Life Positively
Hadhrat Mufti Taqi Usmani has mentioned that his honorable father had explained to them that when we look at events affecting us, we tend to misread the event. We take it in a negative light and focus on the downside of things. However, the spirit of a Believer is that we should try to look at conditions positively and focus on the opportunities and favours that are present and accessible.
