It is mentioned in a Hadith, "Love for the world is the root of all evil."Love for the world is the first illness to take root in the heart, all other maladies occur as a result of this malady.

The method is to pursue with steadfastness that which is attainable and to ignore and resign oneself from that which is not in one’s control.

Today, we blame a lot on others - rather, blame should be directed to oneself. If you want to blame anyone, blame yourself - remain occupied in your reformation - Allah's mercy will guide you to rectification.
